A free route planner and GPX tool, made by riders

OffRaid Studio plans new routes and opens any GPX, shows it on the map you prefer and tells you what is wrong with it before you leave. When it is ready, one QR code puts it on your phone for offline navigation with the OffRaid app.

Is it free?

Yes. No ads, and everything works without an account.

Do I need an account?

No. A free OffRaid account keeps your routes safe on our server, so you can open them from any computer and they are never lost. Routes you plan are saved by themselves.

Which roads does the planner use?

The same routing as the OffRaid app (BRouter with our five motorcycle levels), on OpenStreetMap data. “Asphalt” prefers paved roads; “Enduro” goes where only a motorcycle goes. Motorways and roads closed to motorcycles are avoided.

Are my files uploaded?

Only if you want. Files are opened by your browser and kept in it, so they are still there next time. A route goes to offraid.com only when you save it to your account, or when you press “Get QR code” (that one route, for 30 days).

Which files can I open?

GPX (tracks, routes and waypoints), KML, KMZ, GeoJSON, TCX and FIT (Garmin, Wahoo and other devices).

Why does my phone say I am off the route?

Often the GPX has straight lines that cut across the road. Open it here: the GPX check finds them and puts them back on the road.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes, but it is easier on a computer. On the road, use the OffRaid app.
