Routes keep the colour you choose — also while you follow them. Routes without a colour of their own still take your brand colour.
Hidden routes stay hidden after you restart the app.
Voice directions are checked against the route you actually follow: no more "turn left" one junction early, no left-right pairs on a small kink in the road, and the instruction is spoken at least 40 m before the turn even after a stop.

Voice reconnects to your Bluetooth intercom after a phone call.
Turn instructions are checked against the road map: no false U-turns, no double announcements, and "keep left / keep right" at forks on dirt.
A small dot on the menu button shows your internet: green mobile data, blue Bluetooth tethering, orange Wi-Fi, red none. Tap it for details.
Map downloads work on networks that filter DNS (offices, some home routers): the app tries alternative paths on its own, and a "Test map connection" button tells you what is blocked.

The route shared in your group stays listed in the Group sheet — load it whenever you want, even if you dismissed the pop-up.
Phones stay in portrait while navigating or recording, so the on-screen controls never overlap. Tablets are unchanged.

Turn instructions come earlier, so you hear them before the junction — not on it.
Off-route alerts calm down: three beeps at most, and the voice repeats only after a while.
Navigation can stay visible over the lock screen, like Google Maps — new setting.
Group riding keeps working in the background when you only share your position; shared routes arrive reliably even when a group code is reused.

Following a GPX: the turn card and the voice speak only at real junctions, not at every bend of a mountain road — new setting "Turns: junctions only", on by default.
Your own position is a dot while browsing, an arrow only when you ride; the arrow sits higher on the screen and leans into the turn.
Fixes: the arrow no longer covers the Finish button.

Events and groups are now two separate things. At an event you are visible to the organisers only; your own group of friends rides in its own channel and you see each other — not the other 200 riders.
Multi-day events: the organiser can publish one route per day and you get the right one each morning.

Never lose the way: direction arrows on your GPX, and if you set off backwards OffRaid asks to flip the route for you. The map faces your heading from the very first second.
You stay in your group even after closing the app, and organiser routes arrive with all their waypoints.
Weak GPS? A clear "GPS ±" badge and a calmer map. You can pause the rider-down detector while you clear a track.
Finish flag at the end of the route; waypoint names are read in your language.

Can't reach the phone? The rider-down alarm listens: say "HELP" to send the alert instantly, or "I'M OK" to cancel — hands never leave the ground.
Riding in a group: if the detector sends an alert, your SOS lights up for everyone in the channel too.

Voice guidance now names the street: "turn right onto Ethnikis Antistaseos" — offline too.

Safety review of the whole app: the rider-down detector and SOS no longer have silent failure paths, the alarm stops when you say so, and YES/NO answers to the organiser survive a dead battery.
Rerouting keeps your stops and never loops; large GPX files load without freezing the screen.
The app asks once to be excluded from battery saving, so group riding does not stop in your pocket.

Important fix: on-road routing could send you the wrong way on a motorway. It can't any more.
Add a point of interest as a stop straight from its sheet; delete waypoints you don't need; skip a via-point with one tap.
Roundabouts are announced properly, the turn card shows arrival time, and your recent destinations are one tap away.

Simple mode (menu): search a place, get the fastest road route with tolls — no questions asked. For dirt, load a GPX and press Start. Your advanced settings stay untouched.
Off the route? Rerouting now rejoins your route a little further ahead in 1–3 seconds instead of recalculating everything.
Several routes loaded? Tap a line to make it the one you follow; the others fade.
Organiser messages can be answered from the lock screen without unlocking the phone.

The turn card now shows the next real turn and how far away it is — "right in 10 km" — instead of counting down to a straight-ahead point.
Save the navigation you are running as a route in your library, without stopping.
Tap the group panel and the map fits the whole group for five seconds, then hands control back to you.
Event links (offraid.com/j/…) open straight in the app on Android 12 and newer.
Fixes: the turn card only pulses inside 500 m of the turn; a broken event link explains itself; joining an event with no network says so instead of blaming the QR code.

Group cohesion indicator: the worst gap in your group along the route, colour-coded, so you see the group stretching before you lose someone.
POI categories drop straight onto the map instead of a list, and you can tap the GPX line itself for details at that point.
SOS now names 112 or the correct local emergency number outside Europe.
Bluetooth music ducks while the voice speaks.
Fixed the QR scanner in release builds — the code shrinker was stripping the barcode engine.
The event message card is English everywhere, so a mixed-nationality field reads the same thing.

The POI pack downloads automatically together with the country map.

The off-route threshold now scales with GPS accuracy, so poor reception stops triggering false alarms.
Dragging a stop in the route planner recalculates only the legs next to it.
Subscriptions are verified server-side.
